Connie and Carla (2004) Connie and Carla is one of those movies that you don't think to much about. It has two of my favorite actress. Nia Vardalos and Toni Coliette. Both have been in some of my favorite movies.Here they play life long friends who are dinner theater singers. After witnessing a mob hit. They high tail it to LA. To blend in. It's not a laugh out loud funny movie. I guess what I enjoyed about it most is Vardalos and Coliette do all their own singing. And they have great voices.Check your brains at the door and enjoy.
