I got away from TV and movies for awhile and got back into reading.

This is a really good book. It's about a vampire that get caught messing with a wizards daughter and get place in a picture for 300 years. Until a young women releases him.

Movie:
Holiday (2006) I only wanted to watch this because of Jack Black and Kate Winslet. I liked their relationship better than Jude Law and Cameron Diaz. They seemed more matched than Law and Diaz. And Winslet and Black seemed more real. It's to bad this movie couldn't just have them. And let Law and Diaz go make their own movie.

Aurora Borealis (2006) A very well written story of a young man who is trying to get a grip on his life. And his love for his dieing grandfather. And a young women who drifts in to his life. Staring Donald Sutherland, Louise Fletcher, Joshua Jackson, and Juliette Lewis.

Waking Life (2001) This was a very strange animated movie. Not sure if I would have liked it better if I had been stoned. Then maybe I wouldn't have gotten motion sickness trying to watch it. Maybe I'm not of the intelligence to get into this type of movie.I have heard a lot of nice things about it. Maybe I'm not cool enough to "get it".

Charlotte's Web

Charlotte's Web (2006) This was a beautifully made movie of a beloved childhood book. You can see there was a lot of love put into this movie. The CGI animals were just seamless. Dakota and the rest of the non-voice actors were very good also. But it was animals and of course Charlotte the spider that really made this movie. By the end of the movie I was crying. So make sure you have a hankie near by.
