Hosted by noted historian Simon Schama, the series travels from India to Ireland, and from the Norman Invasion to the American Revolution, spotlighting the epic themes and towering figures that transformed an island at the edge of the world into the greatest empire on earth. (Copy from DVD)It took me 3 days to see this 15 part series. And it was well worth it. If you love history, this worth your time.
