Yours, Mine and Ours
Even thou it was your by the book Rom-Com. And you knew from the start how it was going to end. I still liked it. You can't go wrong with Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo. This is a remake of the 1968 with Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball.
It's about two single parents, with large families, meeting and forming a even larger family.
It's a nice rental for a nothing to do weekend.
Mansfield Park
Another version of Jane Austen's book. If your into Jane Austen (which I'm not) then you can only judge for yourself if they did a good job. I really enjoyed it. I like period pieces. I thought the film was well shot. The attention to detail was there. You couldn't ask for a better movie to show how thing were back during the 1800's.
I would say check it out.
Hoodwinked
First of all I am not sure why this didn't do well in the theater. I thought it was funny and well made. The story was well thought out. It could have down with out the songs. Or at lest cut some of them out. But other than that I thought it was a good family movie. Is it right up there with Shrek and Incredible? No. But I like how they twisted the fairy tale around and made it into a crime movie. Telling different sides of the crime.
